Thanksgiving

Marcus cooked our Thanksgiving Feast this year. It was just the 4 of us. Marcus was busy on the phone with his mom making sure just what ingredients he would need. He wanted it to be like his Mom's Thanksgiving. As for me I did not have to do a thing. He was up at the crack of morning to put the 22 pound turkey in the oven and to get started on the full day of cooking. I was happy to see Marcus excited about doing a dinner like his Mom.
It turned out great and everything Tasted perfect! Good Job HONEY!! Hey he even was nice to our little dog and cooked the giblets for him. Choncho even got a meal.

After the Thanksgiving our boys were so excited they wanted to start decorating for Christmas. They each got a tree to decorate and put in their rooms and we listened to Christmas Music. We started a tradition that we will write on a paper what we are thankful for that year and put it in our special thankful box. Every year we will write a new one and read the ones already in the box. I am excited to see what the boys write. This year Branden wrote that he was thankful for Prayer and Anthony said he was thankful for Jesus. We are off to a good start. So cute!

We Sure do have so many things to be Thankful for!!

Birthday Updates. Branden, Anthony, Me

Branden turned 7 and had a friend party. He had a blast and was excited to have friends over to to the house. We played games and had Hot Dogs, Chips and cake and Ice cream. Then opened presents. His party was a SUPER MARIO THEME. It was a super HIT!!

Anthony had a Birthday and turned 5. I can not believe that Anthony is 5. He had a friend Super Mario Party as well. He wants to be like his older brother Branden. For Anthony's party we had Pizza and Cake and Ice cream. We played games and opened presents. He was so excited to have a party he gave hugs to everyone after opening their present.

As for me I am old-er so that is all we need to know right! I had many Phone calls from family and a wonderful surprise from my HUBBY!!

Pretty Flowers. We had Anthony's party on my Birthday due to sickness and Marcus was going to be home to help with the party. After the party I went with my friend Amy to a craft Event at Joann's is was fun and then she treated me to a drink form sonic. YUM. Then I went home to my family. Marcus took me out to eat to a new place that we have not been California Dreaming. It was GREAT and I loved the Salads and roll with drizzled honey on it. YUM. Thanks Kelly for the idea!! I had a good Birthday! Many thanks for the phone calls and cards in the mail. Also thanks AMY for the Birthday cake and dinner that you did. It was like a family dinner for my Birthday you are so thoughtful.

Hello!!

We are sill alive!! This is what has been going on in the past while.
Branden turned 7 September 6th. He had a fun Birthday party with kids form our ward. He is into Super Mario so we had a Mario Party. I cant believe that he is 7. He is growing up fast. He is such a joy to have in our family. He is a good helper and loves school and is doing well in school. 1st grade I remember preschool where did that time go.

Marcus went to San Antonio Texas a couple of weeks ago for some training 10 days. We are glad that he is back and that the training went well.
Marcus is going again to San Antonio for more training in February to be certified as a OR nurse it is a 4 month course. Work is going well. He is working Graves so we miss our husband and father when he is sleeping during the day and day's off for him are crazy for us his schedule is all backwards.

For me I got a new car and then the day Marcus was going to be coming home I hit something in our 2 week old new car. I felt so dumb and so bad that my new little RUBY was now damaged. Not bad and no one was hurt. I have Ruby back and she is in tip top shape.
I have been busy doing all kinds of crafts and exciting new things. I am getting ready to host a Boutique at my house in November. I have had the house messy with all kinds of string, paper, glue, beads , wood things and fabric that my dining room table has not been cleaned for over a month. I did clean it off today but no guarantee that it will stay that way for long.

I have been walking and eating better and trying to loose some weight and was discouraged but I am excited to say that I think it is working my pants are fitting better and yea I feel better!! My Mom is taking a nutrition type class through my Dads work and she updates every week with the new goals that has helped to stay motivated and make good eating choices.

Anthony is going to have a Birthday next week and will be 5 my baby is 5. oh boy! He is liking preschool and is doing well. He is still our little man. He was helping me the other day putting things into the dryer and Marcus and I were watching him from a little distance and we were saying oh what a little guy and Anthony said I am not a baby. Marcus said he will probably be 16 and we will say oh look at our little Anthony.

Sorry that I don't have pictures our computer crashed and we had to get a new one and we lost our new Pictures so hopefully soon I will have some to share!

First day of School!

Welcome Back to School! Branden started the 1st grade and Anthony is in prekindergarten. They were excited to go to school!

They are set! We hope that they will have a good school year! We started out that morning with Father's Blessings so they would do well and be protected this year! We got started off on the right foot!

UTAH!!!

We had a fun time in Utah with all of our family!

Day 1 Flew into Utah where we met my Mom and Dad at the airport. They took us to Chuck E Cheese where we met up with my Sister Annette and her family. I was excited to see my new nephew Parker and held him the whole time.

Day 2 We got together with Marcus' family and had a big BBQ it was good to see everyone! I also has a new niece Bethany there and held her as well. We ate the kids swam and the guys played the Wii while the girls talked and caught up!

Day 3 Wheeler Farm. Marcus went fishing with his Father and brother while My Mom, Annette and her family, my boys and I saw the farm.

It was fun to see Branden with all the animals he just loves the Farm life and always has. We had good laughs at the animals. It was hot and after Annette and Josh went and made a Slurpee run and met us at the park! YUM YUM!
DANGER!!! this is where it gets really GREAT!!!

SICK FLAT OUT UNTIL MONDAY THE 20th

The 20th we went to the open house of the Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple!! It was so pretty and it was so very neat for the boys to see the inside of the Temple. I am glad we were able to be well enough for this experience. Oh my mom was on the couch at this point with the GOMBOO! sad.
We then met up with Annette my sister and her family and my Brother Shawn and his family to eat at Cafe Rio. I was glad to see my nephew Jackson he had gotten so big. He is a cute little Shawn. We then went to Annette's house and I had not see it yet so we took a tour and then talked and caught up on life. The kids had fun running around in Annette's HUGE BACKYARD!
Then Watch out DANGER 2 in the morning it was my card drawn and I was out on the couch with the GOMBOO. Poor Cafe Rio not so good coming up!! still to this day does not sound so good.
So after that Marcus took the boys and went to see UP and to get out of GOMBOO LAND. I slept the whole day.

23rd of July I was feeling better and we went down town and met my Mom and Dad for lunch at the Lion House! I had the best Jello and Roll ever and to wash it down sprite. We then went to gateway where the boys ran through the fountains. It was fun watching them get all wet and have fun.

We did go through the visitors center at temple square and walk the Temple grounds. We went into the Joseph Memorial building and into the Distribution Center where My dad bought the boys a small Book of Mormon. They even slept with it. CUTE! By then I was about to die I was weak and tired I had over did myself in the heat and just wanted to go home but I had fun!Other Highlights of the trip because at this rate I will be up 4 more hours so here we go!South Town mall food court Yea!

Enjoying the ha mick at Nana's Marcus and his brother trying to be little boys and make a big fire work out of 5 boxes of sparklers. we could see spots for 5 min after this. Brick Oven in Provo my Favorite YUM YUM!Bowling at FAT CATS in Provo. The boys won a tee shirt for getting a strike good Job! I am glad that they both won by the end of the 2 games. No fighting over the tee shirt.We stopped on the way home form the store by a elk farm by my mom's house the boys had fun watching them and feed them through the fence. They also had bison.

We went on a few hikes in the mountains with my brother Shawn, Pam and Little Jack and my Mom. It was fun to get the fresh air. Also to see all of the wonderful creations that Our Father in Heaven has given us to enjoy.

We had our last big day on the 26th went to Church with the Nixon's and then my Mom had my brother and sister over for a nice home cooked meal and to visit one last time. We had fun and I am glad that we were able to get together with family!
