Our new pet

So the new member of the Family is Lantis. He is a black potato bug found in the yard and named by Branden. Branden and Anthony fixed this Kurr jar and put dirt and grass and a stick in to make a cage to put the new pet in. I thought it was so cute, I did this as a child and it brought back memories.

The boys are proud of the new finding
Branden is so proud of the little potato bug and checks on the little Lantis every few minutes. I hope that Lantis lives long in his Kurr jar.
As for Anthony we got the shorts on today and yes we had to have our old cowboy boots on with the shorts. He sure loves the cowboy life.

Branden's Preschool Field Trip to Discovey Gateway

First stop was to the top floor where they got to play in the Life Flight helicopter. They all got in the copter and out came Branden it was to loud. Anthony came as well to the field trip. You can't help but love the hunting orange vests. It was like we were all at the deer hunt. At least you could tell where his group was at all times.

We went in and to a section where there was big blocks to play with and things to discover well Branden found Bambi and carried it around for at least 15 min. He loves Animals!! His teacher Mrs. Lorie said that she asked him if he wanted to be a Zoo keeper his reply was sure thing.

The next animal he found was a horse where he stayed playing for a while like he was at the farm. He would find the bails of hay to feed the horse and then would load the hay into a truck they had to sit in. He was a real farmer. He then tried his hand at making the horse some horse shoes
Anthony was enjoying himself just being a cowboy in muck boots. We had lots of fun. Anthony was glad to be a part of the preschool field trip he can't wait till he goes to preschool this coming fall. It was fun seeing Branden with his school mates. He likes being with his friends. We had fun at Discovery Gateway and boy were we tired after. Mom had a headache from keeping track of all the kids there. There were other preschool kids there as well.
